ALTARIA Complete Recording, Begin Mixing Full-Length Debut

Finnish melodic metal band ALTARIA, featuring SONATA ARCTICA guitarist Jani Liimatainen, have completed the backing and harmony vocal tracks for their debut album, "Invitation", and are currently taking care of "additional recordings and other small details and minor fixes" before beginning to mix the effort at Helsinki's Sonic Pump studios on Jan. 21. Among the guest musicians making an appearance on the CD are Marco Hietala (NIGHTWISH, TAROT, CONQUEST),Luis Herrero (CRAYDAWN) and Carsten "Lizard" Schulz (DOMAIN). A tentative March release through AOR Heaven sub-label Metal Heaven is expected.
